Many of us know about traditional pollutants like heavy metals and pesticides, but what about the newer substances like microplastics or pharmaceuticals? Recent studies indicate these contaminants can disrupt aquatic ecosystems and potentially enter our food chain. I’m interested in discussing effective risk assessment strategies for these emerging threats and how we can better analyze their impacts on human health and the environment.
