I’ve been experimenting with integrated pest management techniques for my potato crops, and I’m curious what tools or methods others have found effective. I’m currently using neem oil and beneficial insects, but I’d love to hear your experiences — especially if you’ve had success with something less conventional. Any recommendations?
Have you tried using row covers? They’re been a game changer for protecting young plants from pests. I found that letting them sit until the plants are well-established helps a lot, especially against aphids.
Using beneficial insects like ladybugs can definitely help, but I’ve found that companion planting with marigolds can deter pests too. They can be a great addition to your pest management strategy and are super easy to grow. Have you thought about trying that with your current setup, @nate_cole79?
