Engaging Students with Active Learning

I’ve been trying out some active learning strategies in my biology classroom, and I’ve seen a noticeable difference in engagement. For instance, I recently had students work in small groups to model a cell’s functions using everyday items. It sparked great discussions and made the learning process so much more dynamic. I’m curious about what other techniques everyone has found effective in keeping students involved.
