Salary: $70,000 – $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience & certifications

Responsibilities

  • Conduct wetland delineations per U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) standards and regional supplements

  • Perform threatened & endangered species and migratory bird surveys

  • Execute varied field activities — inspections, monitoring, sampling, construction oversight, air monitoring

  • Prepare detailed field notes, sketches, photographs, and daily reports

  • Operate and maintain field equipment and instrumentation safely

  • Enforce safety protocols, oversee crew welfare, and liaise with both public and private clients

Minimum Qualifications

  • 3+ years of field experience in ecological biology or environmental science

  • Willingness to travel 50–60%, including adverse weather field conditions

  • Strong technical writing and oral communication skills

  • Clean valid driver’s license

  • Must pass pre‑employment and random drug/alcohol screenings
